Srinagar, April 21 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leaders, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza and Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi have said that the people of Kashmir have always sought political settlement of Kashmir dispute but it is India which avoids and creates impediments in the way of dialogues.

Mukhtar Ahmad Waza addressing a public gathering at Seer Hamdan in Islamabad, today, said that people of Kashmir had rendered countless sacrifices for the Kashmir cause and would take every step for securing their right to slef-determination.

He urged the international community to help provide justice to Kashmiri people, take note of the grave situation in Kashmir and intervene to save the people from Indian oppression. “It is the moral responsibility of the international community to stop an oppressive regime from committing heinous crimes against innocents, otherwise, the oppressed nations in the world will lose hope of justice and equality,” he added.

Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, accompanied by Hurriyet leaders, Tahoor Siddiqi and Molvi Javaid addressing a public gathering at Kheeri in Baramulla said that the irresponsible and divisive statements by pro-India politicians are nothing but an attempt to justify the killing of innocent youth and unabated pellet firing and teargas shelling on school and college students.

He termed the remarks of BJP Minister, Chander Prakash Ganga to use bullets on stone-throwing protesters as a frustration.

On the occasion a resolution was also passed over the minister’s remarks that the civil society and human rights groups of India would be approached so that they could take cognizance of the atrocities committed by Indian forces in Kashmir.

A Hurriyet delegation led by Shakeel-ur-Rehman and Master Maqbool will leave for New Delhi, tomorrow, to meet various civil society groups and human rights organizations and will also hand over them the resolution.

On the occasion people raised slogans against BJP and RSS and in favor of freedom.
