Srinagar, April 12 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Deputy Grand Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam has denounced the barbaric and brutal acts of terror against Kashmiris by Indian forces.

Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam in a statement issued in Srinagar said the killing of innocent civilians and brutalities of Indian forces in Kashmir in the name of so-called electoral process was highly deplorable and shameful.

India fighting a lost battle in Kashmir

Srinagar, April 12 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the joint resistance leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik has said that deferment of sham by-elections in the territory vindicates that India and its local collaborators have virtually accepted the defeat.

The leadership in a joint statement issued in Srinagar said that the total rejection of the election drama by the people of Srinagar constituency and the deferment of its next phase had exposed New Delhi’s own index of treating elections as a gauge of people’s verdict. The leaders said that public meetings would be held in Badgam on Friday to express solidarity with the families of brave-hearts, who were shot dead by Indian troops on Sunday. »

Srinagar, April 12 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) Chairperson, Aasiya Andrabi has said that the rejection of farce elections by Kashmiri people has frightened and frustrated Indian government and its puppets and they have been forced to postpone the polling in south Kashmir.

Jammu, April 12 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, brandishing sharp-edged weapons, Bajrang Dal activists took out a rally in Jammu to strengthen movement to evict Muslims, particularly Rohingyas from the region.

The rally started from Akhada near Tawi Bridge, where over 200 youth joined Bajrang Dal. After the function was over, the Bajrang Dal activists took out a motorbike rally brandishing swards and trishuls. »

New Delhi, April 12 (KMS): Dismissing a plea against Article 370 of Indian Constitution, the Delhi High Court has upheld the validity of the Article that guarantees special status to Jammu and Kashmir.

A division bench of Chief Justice G Rohini and Justice Jayant Nath while dismissing a Public Interest Litigation seeking scrapping of Article 370 held that “Nothing survives in it as the Supreme Court has already dismissed a petition on the issue.” »
