Srinagar, April 10 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown was observed across the territory, today, against the killing of eight civilians and injuries to over hundred in firing by Indian forces’ personnel on protesters in Badgam and Ganderbal districts, yesterday.
Call for the two-day strike and protests was given by the joint resistance leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik. All markets, education institutions and other businesses remained closed and traffic was off the road. Islamabad, April 10 (KMS): The convener of All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC), Ghulam Mohammad Safi has said that the boycott of parliamentary sham elections gave a clear message to India that the people of Kashmir cannot live with it, at any cost.

Islamabad, April 10 (KMS): The President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Masood Khan has strongly condemned the horrendous killings of eight young Kashmiris in Budgam, yesterday.
Sardar Masood Khan in a statement issued in Islamabad said, “Such wanton and killings are crimes against humanity and unacceptable. A student of 12th grade also included in the martyrs. India must be made accountable”, he deplored.
