Srinagar, March 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) has denounced the arrest of its Chairman, Zafar Akbar Butt.

The JKSM spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Zafar Akbar Butt was arrested when he was coming back from Khoor Pattan and placed under house arrest.

Condemning police action, the spokesman said that all political and social activities of the JKSM had been restricted which was condemnable.

Meanwhile, a delegation led by Molvi Manzoor paid tributes to founder of Peoples League, Nazir Ahmad Wani at Hyderpora. Another delegation led by Molve Abdul Rasheed visited Gopalpora and paid tributes to mother of Zahoor Ahmad Taan and Advocate Abdul Rasheed Hanjoora.
