Tributes paid to Kulgam, Hajin Martyrs
Srinagar, February 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, normal life remained paralysed in Kulgam district and Tral area of Pulwama district in South Kashmir on the second consecutive day, today, against the killing of Kashmiri youth by Indian troops.
The Indian forces killed six Kashmiir youth on Sunday at Frisal in Kulgam. All commercial establishments remained closed in Kulgam district and Tral area.
Dozens of youth assembled near bus stand Tral and staged protests against the killings.
Hurriyet leaders, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash and Bilal Ahmad Siddque, today, visited families of martyrs in Redwani, Howrah & Frisal. Both leaders paid their heartfelt tributes to slain youth Mudasir Ahmad Tantrey, Mohammad Yunus Lone and a civilian Ashiq Husain Lone in Frisal.
A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League led by Jafar Kashmiri, Manzoor Ghazi and Maulvi Rafiq visited Bandipora and Kulgam areas to participate in funerals of martyrs and express solidarity with their families.
Muhammad Ramzan Khan, the general secretary People’s Freedom League, paid rich tributes to Kulgam and Hajin, Bandipora martyrs. He lauds the role of youth in Kashmir struggle.
Meanwhile, the Ummat-e-Islami Chief, Qazi Yasir in a statement said that people were demanding their genuine rights and the Indian government had only used maximum force to quell any protests. He condemned civilian killings in Kulgam.
