3 soldiers killed, 9 including CRPF commander, major injured in Bandipora

Srinagar, February 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred one  more Kashmiri youth and injured many in Bandipore district, today. Indian forces of 13-Rashtriya Rifles, Central Reserve Police Force and Special Operation Group during a siege and search operation killed the youth in Hajin area of the district. 

At least three Indian army men were killed while a CRPF commanding officer, one army major and nine soldiers were injured in the ongoing encounter in Hajin. The condition of army major is said to be critical.

Indian police officials talking to media men claimed that one militant was killed during the operation of 13-Rashtriya Rifles and Special Operation Group at Hajin early morning. A civilian identified as Hilal Ahmad Parrey was also injured during the operation, they added.

Meanwhile, around a dozen civilians were injured during the protests demonstrations in Saderkoot area of Bandipora. Five youth sustained pellet injuries in the ongoing protests.
