Srinagar, December 07 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, not a single inquiry ordered into civilian killings in the five-month long uprising has been completed.

Over 110 civilians have been killed so far in the brutal actions of Indian forces’ personnel on peaceful demonstrators during the mass uprising, which was triggered by the extrajudicial killing of popular youth leader, Burhan Wani, on July 8, this year.

The puppet authorities had ordered magisterial inquiries into only five of these killings. However, till date not a single probe has been completed, raising questions on the authorities’ seriousness to know the truth about these deaths and subsequently punish the Indian troops and police personnel involved in using disproportionate and unwarranted force on the protesters.
