Indian troops martyr 1 Kashmiri youth in Kupwara

Srinagar, November 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the joint resistance leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik has said that the people of Kashmir demand and fight for freedom from India to safeguard their race, culture and religion.

The leaders in a joint statement issued in Srinagar while referring to the assertions made by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Chief Mohan Bhagwat that India was a Hindu Rashtra said that the words and all RSS actions testified Bhagwat’s statement. The leaders said that the RSS bigwigs were unmasking the deceitful face of the so-called democratic and secular India and as such justified the Kashmiris’ movement for freedom. The joint resistance leadership said, fascist forces like RSS are trying every weapon in their armory to occupy Jammu and Kashmir forcibly and militarily, but people of Kashmir have never accepted this unjust occupation. »

Srinagar, November 15 (KMS): Historian Ramachandra Guha and former Indian Minister Mani Shankar Aiyar have questioned in unison, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s courage, of which he keeps speaking about all the time.

Both Guha and Aiyar were in Bengaluru to discuss issues relating to Kashmir, as part of the Kashmir Flashpoint conference, Times of India reported. »

Ajmer, November 15 (KMS): Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind has urged the Indian authorities to stop use of pellet guns and other fatal weapons against the protestors in occupied Kashmir and set up a probe commission to punish guilty personnel of Indian armed forces.

Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind passed more than a dozen resolutions on a wide-range of issues before a gathering of over two hundred thousand people at its concluding 33rd General Session in Ajmer. »

The leaders in their statements issued in Srinagar denounced the assertion of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Chief Mohan Bhagwat that “India is a Hindu Rashtra (Hindu Country).” Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik said that not only Mohan Bhagwat’s words but all RSS actions and deeds testified this statement. »

Srinagar, November 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops, in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred a Kashmiri youth in Kupwara district.

The troops killed the youth during a violent military operation in Nowgam area of the district. The operation continued till reports last came in.

Indian Army claimed that the youth was a militant and was killed in an encounter with the troops. »

I cannot afford to visit Jammu Jail: Says wife of leader

Srinagar, November 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the wife of illegally detained Hurriyet leader, Maulana Sarjan Barkati, has appealed to the human rights bodies to play role in the shifting of her husband to Srinagar jail from Kot Bhalwal jail in Jammu.

Maulana Barkati’s wife talking to media men in Srinagar said that her financial condition was very weak and she was not in a position to visit her husband at Kot Bhalwal jail. »

Srinagar, November 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has condemned the use of brute force on the funeral procession of a youth by Indian forces’ personnel in Srinagar.

The youth, Rizwan Ahmad, a resident of Noorbagh area of Srinagar, was critically injured after an Indian Army vehicle deliberately hit him on November 2. He was admitted at Soura Institute of Medical Sciences in Srinagar where he succumbed to his injuries on Monday.

The forum spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that there was no let up in killing and torturing Kashmiris. “Every day people in different areas of the Kashmir Valley are beaten up, raids and arrests carried out, homes and properties damaged and then shameless denials are made by authorities,” he said. »
