Srinagar, November 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC), Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi has termed the burning of schools a conspiracy of Indian secret agencies to deprive the children of Kashmir of education.

Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, who is under house detention since long, in a statement issued in Srinagar said that burning of schools was a failed attempt to weaken the freedom sentiment of the people of Kashmir and suppress the ongoing liberation movement. »

Srinagar, November 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, scores of people were injured when Indian troops fired pellets, bullets and teargas shells to prevent people from staging anti-India demonstrations and conducting marches towards district headquarters in the territory.

Call for the marches was given by the joint resistance leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik to protest against Indian illegal occupation, killing of innocent civilians and other brutalities by Indian forces in the Kashmir Valley. »

Srinagar, November 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Shoora Committee Kishtwar has decided to organize special prayers at Jamia Masjid Kishtwar after Namaz Zuhr, tomorrow, to pay tributes to the Jammu martyrs of 1947.

Imam Jamia Masjid Kishtwar, Farooq Ahmed Kichloo, in his Juma sermon, today, said that November 5 is the day when innocent Muslims were martyred in Jammu in 1947. “In order to remember the martyrs of Jammu, Shoora has decided to organize special prayers tomorrow,” he added. »

Srinagar, November 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Secretary General of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Nahida Nasreen has said that New Delhi is misleading the United Nations on the Kashmir dispute.

Nahida Nasreen in a statement issued in Srinagar, reacting to the remarks of counsellor in the Permanent Mission of India to the UN, Mayank Joshi, that free and fair elections are held regularly in Kashmir, said that India was misleading the world forum and back home its propaganda machinery, was befooling its own people regarding the Kashmir dispute. »

Srinagar, November 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Deputy Grand Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam has expressed concern over the burning of school buildings and said that it reflected the mindset of the anti-education elements and frustration of the authorities.

Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam chairing a meeting of the Muslim Personal Law Board in Srinagar said that Indian secret agencies were involved in the burning of school buildings in the territory. He said that such cheap tactics were aimed at maligning the freedom movement and were condemnable. »

UNITED NATIONS: A top Pakistani diplomat has fervently called for settlement of the decades-old Kashmir dispute between India and Pakistan for establishing lasting peace in the region, while denouncing attempts by occupiers to conflate freedom struggles with terrorism.

Speaking at the General Assembly’s committee, Ambassador Maleeha Lodhi, permanent representative of Pakistan to the UN, said the Kashmiri people’s struggle for liberation from illegal occupation was legitimate and they have the right to receive moral and political support from the international community. »

Srinagar, November 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, member of the so-called Kashmir Assembly, Engineer Abdur Rasheed was denied permission to meet the agitating detainees in Baramulla sub-jail.

Engineer Rasheed in an interview in Srinagar said that there could be nothing inhuman than beating prisoners inside jail, keeping them locked like animals and denying them food and other basic amenities. »
