jklfpflSrinagar, October 12 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, protest demonstrations were held in Srinagar, today, against attacks on valley-bound trucks by Hindu extremists in Udhampur.

The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front held a protest at Aabiguzur in Srinagar against the rising incidents of attacks on truckers. JKLF leader Shoukat Ahmad Bakhshi led the demonstration. The protesters raised slogans against RSS hooligans. However, the Indian police intercepted the protest march and arrested JKLF members including Noor Mohammad Kalwal and Showkat Bakshi and imprisoned them at Kothibagh police station.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League also staged a protest demonstration led by party General Secretary Muhammad Ramzan Khan at Lal Chowk in Srinagar against RSS-backed attacks on Kashmiri drivers. The demonstration was held to draw the attention of the world towards stepped-up Hindu terrorism in the occupied territory particularly in Jammu region.

The Indian police arrested Muhammad Ramzan Khan, Imtiyaz Ahmed Shah, Showkat Ahmed Butt and others and lodged them in Kothi Bagh Police Station in Srinagar.
