‘Troops unleash terror to suppress liberation struggle in IHK’

Srinagar, February 07 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, APHC leader and the Patron of Jammu Kashmir Mahaz-e-Azadi (MeA), Muhammad Azam Inqilabi has deplored that Indian troops have unleashed a reign of terror in every nook and corner of Jammu Kashmir to suppress Kashmiris’ liberation movement.

Azam Inqilabi in a statement issued in Srinagar said that New Delhi was utilising every tactic including the use of brute force to prevent the Kashmiris from continuing their just struggle for right to self-determination. He maintained that the people of Kashmir would not bow before the occupation authorities and would continue their struggle till its logical conclusion.

He said that illegally detained APHC leaders and activists including Shabbir Ahmad Shah and Nayeem Ahmad Khan were put behind the bars without any justification and demanded their immediate release. He flayed the killing of another student, Zahid Farooq at Brain Nishat in Srinagar by Indian troops. He pointed out that the killings and arrests couldn’t stop the people of Kashmir from carrying on their just struggle as they had rendered unprecedented sacrifices for liberation of their soil from Indian bondage.

The APHC leader also appealed to the world community and international human rights organisations to help stop massive human rights violations by Indian troops in the occupied territory and put pressure on New Delhi to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations. »
