Do you seriously expect the Indian government to handover territory that your country's army couldn't win by war. There has never been a case of any country ceding territory because of bleeding hearts, only wars win territory. Both Pakistani and the separatists might get emboldened by the relatively lenient treatment of separatists in India but don't expect the government to cede even an inch of land. Any government that loses territory loses any chance of getting elected. Remember Kargil, where the army lost hundreds to win back peaks.
If push comes to shove, then you can expect the separatists to receive the "Srilankan treatment" where the army would be willing to kill 10 civilians for every terrorist.

Please specify these two cases, if not by name, then by location, police-thana, FIR number or some other manner to prove the authenticity of your claim. Was there any report in any independent press or media? And who were the alleged perpetrators? Indian army trooper assault tourists, harass women’ in Pahalgam, Police registers case

Srinagar, June 6: Few days after Omar Abdullah slammed Indian army for harassing foreign tourists during raids in Leh, the Indian army personnel assaulted a group of tourists and roughed up a family from Indian state Rajasthan at health and tourist resort in Pahlgham in South Kashmir’s Islamabad district. A local vegetable vendor, Arshid Ahmad Bhat of Islamabad district who tried to save the tourists suffered grievous head injuries when he was roughed up by the army, police said.
“In the afternoon, Indian army men in their vehicle appeared near Taxi Stand, Pahalgam and caught hold of Sunil Suhalke, an Indian tourist from Rajasthan and started beating him without any provocation,” eyewitnesses said. They said as the family members of the victim and other tourists in the area tried to intervene and rescue him from the ‘clutches’ of army men, the troopers assaulted the tourists including the women visitors.
“The locals intervened and saved the tourists. They caught a trooper,” said a shopkeeper, who is an eyewitness to the incident.
Eyewitnesses said that in the afternoon, Indian trooper of 3 Rashtriya Rifles caught hold of a tourist Sunil Mishra from Indian city Udaipur, Rajasthan. However, sources said that troopers after sensing trouble attempted to leave the troubled and started beating him without any provocation.
As the other tourists and family members accompanying him objected to the unprovoked beating of the tourist and tried to save him from their clutches, they misbehaved with the women tourists. “When the other tourists intervened, the army personnel also abused them and even misbehaved with the women tourists accompanying them," the reports said.
The Army men, eyewitnesses said were in inebriated state when they appeared near the taxi stand and caught hold of Sunil and beat him with AK assault rifles. When Sunil’s family intervened, another eyewitnesses told media men, the Army men a misbehaved with the women.
The locals, however, demonstrated exemplary courage and caught hold of the Army men. The incident triggered off massive anti-India and anti-Army demonstrations. “The Army men pointed their guns on my chest and tried to shoot me. Had the locals not come to my rescue, I would have been dead by now,” Sunil told media men on the occasion. “We want to leave this place as soon as possible. My family is in a state of shock. My kids are crying,” he added. Sunil said that the troopers also snatched Rs 15000 from him.
A senior police official said FIR No 34/2011 under section 341/323/254 RPC has been registered against the army men and the owner of the vehicle carrying the tourists in police station Pahalgam. In-charge, Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Farooq Ahmad said that the police was investigating the case. The complaint was registered by Sunil Suhalke, a resident of Udaipur, Rajasthan.
DIG south Kashmir Shafqat Watali told media men that local police had received a complaint. “A case has been registered under various sections of RPC but the Army man identified as Constable Jhankar Singh of 3 Rashtriya Rifles has not been arrested yet,” he said.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, south Kashmir, Shafqat Watali said said several persons including women were injured in the assault on the group of tourists from Indian state Rajasthan by the trooper, who was carrying a rifle at the time.
It is pertinent to mention here that the incident took place days after police filed a case of rioting against the Army for illegally conducting searches in some hotels in Leh and harassing tourists there.

Eyewitnesses told Kashmir Dispatch that Sunil, who along with 8 of his family members, including women and children was holidaying in the world famous tourist resort, was allegedly beaten up by Army men in broad day light this morning.

Armyman arrested on rape charge

MENDHAR, June 16: An Army personnel was arrested on the charge of rape of a woman at Mendhar town here this afternoon. A senior police official said that the accused Mohd Shafiq (35), of 3 JAKLI and his unit is presently at Bikaner in Rajasthan. He had taken a house on rent at Mendhar and his younger brother who studies in Class 12th normally stays here. Today, Fauji was all-alone in his room here and during mid-day he called one Zaheen Akhtar, wife of Mohammad Ashraf of village Topa at his rented house near Dak Bungalow and allegedly raped her. Some people heard some noise there and informed police. The police party under the supervision of DySP Parbheet Singh rushed and arrested the accused on the complaint of the victim.
The woman was sent for medical examination to hospital while the accused was arrested vide FIR No. 80/2011 under Section 376 RPC. The police said the accused Mohd Shafiq is married and has two children while the woman’s husband is in Saudi Arabia. Further investigation was in progress.
