Srinagar, March 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the 15-year-old Insha, the symbol of pellet-rage last year, packed her bags and was helped by her parents up to the bus stop at Sedow in South Kashmir’s Shopian district as schools across Kashmir reopened after almost eight months.

Insha received a burst of pellets on her face in July last year during mass uprising after the killing of Hizb Commander Burhan Muzaffar Wani. Despite hectic efforts by her family, the girl couldn’t get back her vision. Insha is in class 10 in Green Land Higher Secondary School, Shopian. »

Srinagar, February 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the puppet authorities imposed strict restrictions in Kunanposhpora area of Kupwara district, today, to prevent people from expressing solidarity with the victims of a mass rape perpetrated by Indian troops twenty six years ago. Indian troops had gang-raped around 100 women of all ages from eight to eighty years old on the night of February 23 in 1991 during a siege and search operation in Kunanposhpora. »
