Cities, towns in IHK continue to simmer

Srinagar, July 02 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the cities and towns including Shopian, Baramulla, Sopore, Bandipore and Maisuma continued to simmer as people rallied to protest the killing of peaceful demonstrators by the troops.

Defying curfew restrictions, people took to streets in Sopore and Baramulla while protests continued for the 33rd day, today, in Shopian. Life remained paralysed in the entire Kashmir valley due to complete shutdown. » Read more

Personnel of 76-CRPF and Rashtriya Rifles during joint military operation killed Zafarullah Parray, Mushtaq Ahmed and Billal Ahmad at Kulhand in Doda district while 31-Rashtriya Rifles killed Rafiq Ahmed Gujjar at Chatternad in Kulgam. » Read more

Srinagar, July 2 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Majlis-i-Mashawarat of Shopian has said that the extension granted to Commission of Inquiry (CoI) has disappointed people, while the strike against the rape and murder of Asiya and Neelofar entered the 33rd day, on Thursday.
