Subjecting protesters to brute force leaves 30 injured in IHK

Srinagar, June 24 (KMS): In Srinagar, at least thirty persons were injured when Indian Central Reserved Police Force resorted to brute force to disperse the demonstrators protesting against the killing of two innocent youth, the previous day, and the transfer of land to Delhi based Shri Amarnath Shrine Board.

Fifteen people sustained injuries when police subjected the protesters to severe baton charge, heavy teargas shelling and fire shots in Ganderbal town while fifteen more were injured in other areas of the city.
