Srinagar, May 28 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops, in their fresh acts of state terrorism martyred one more innocent youth during siege and search operation at Haihama in Kupwara.

Srinagar, May 28 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the High Court quashed the detention order of eight civilians who were illegally detained under draconian Public Safety Act (PSA) in different jails.

World urged to help identify people in mass graves in IHK

Cyprus, May 28 (KMS): Participants of the International Civil Society Conference, expressing their worries over finding of unnamed mass graves in occupied Kashmir, have stressed upon the international community to exert pressure on India to help identify the bodies buried in these graves.

IHK HC seeks inquiry into custodial disappearance case

Srinagar, May 28 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the High Court has issued notice to the Inspector General of Police to conduct an inquiry into a custodial disappearance case. It also directed the puppet administration to grant compensation to the kin of the disappeared person.

AI concerned over discovery of unnamed mass graves in IHK

Srinagar, May 28 (KMS): The Amnesty International (AI), a renowned Human Rights organization, in its annual report for the year 2008, has deplored the continued incidents of custodial deaths, enforced disappearances, extra-judicial killings, violence against women, harassment of human rights defenders and discovery of unnamed mass graves in occupied Kashmir.
