Gilani expresses concern over discovery of graves

Srinagar, April 10 (KMS):  In occupied Kashmir, senior Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, while addressing his party workers in Srinagar expressed grave concern over the discovery of unnamed graves in Baramulla district. He appealed to the world human rights bodies and Organisation of Islamic Conference to impress upon India to disclose identity of those buried in these graves.

250 MORE UNIDENTIFIED GRAVES DISCOVERED IN IHK

Srinagar, April 10 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, another graveyard of 250 more unidentified graves have been discovered in the Kachhama Seri area of Baramulla district.

The discovery was made by the Association of Parents of Disappeared Persons (APDP) in its recent report, which said that majority of those buried in the graves was Kashmiris.

INDIA INCREASES TROOP CONCENTRATION IN IHK

Jammu, April 10 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian Army has deployed additional units along the Line of Control (Loc).

This was stated by General Officer Commander (GOC), 16 corps, Lt Gen R K Karwal. He said that these units have been deployed recently along the Loc in Rajouri and Poonch districts.

It is pertinent to mention that India is increasing its troop concentration at a time when it claims that normalcy has returned to occupied territory.

Woeful tale of innocent Kashmiris languishing in Tihar jail

Srinagar, April 10 (KMS): Mohammad Iqbal Jan, an illegally detained Kashmiri, languishing in Delhi’s Tihar Jail, has said that he and his friend, Mushtaq Ahmad Kaloo, have been kept there since November 2006 without any rhyme and reason.

Mehjoor’s 56th death anniversary celebrated in IHK

Srinagar, April 10 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the 56th death anniversary of famous poet, Ghulam Muhammed Mehjoor was observed with zeal and fervour.

Various events were held through out the occupied territory. The biggest function was organised in Radio Kashmir Srinagar Auditorium, which was presided over by prominent Kashmiri poet, Professor Rehman Rahi and was attended by poets, writers and journalists from across the held valley. Speakers highlighted different aspects of Mehjoor’s poetry and related them to the ethos of Kashmir and its people.

Indian troops martyr 3 more innocent Kashmiri youth

Srinagar, April 10 (KMS):  In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops, in their fresh acts of state terrorism, have martyred three more innocent Kashmiri youth in a fake encounter in Lolab, Kupwara.

The youth were martyred by the police and 2 Para regiment of the troops.

Identification of nameless graves in IHK demanded

Srinagar, April 10 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the so-called State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) has demanded the puppet administration to identity recently discovered nameless graves, saying it would help heal bleeding wounds of parents of the disappeared persons. 

Ali Gilani hails amnesty’s statement

Srinagar, April 10 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior Kashmiri Hurriyet leader has welcomed the statement of Amnesty International (AI) asking India to launch an urgent inquiry into the recent discovery of about 1000 unmarked graves in Baramulla district.

Syed Ali Gilani, while addressing a party meeting in Srinagar, appealed to the Amnesty International to depute a powerful team to investigate the matter.

IHK HC quashes detention of a PSA victim

Jammu, April 10 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the High Court has quashed the detention of a detainee Muhammad Qasim of Angralla village of Udhampur district and issued the orders of his release.

Qasim was detained under Public Safety Act (PSA) on the order of District Magistrate Udhampur on December 14, 2006. He challenged the detention and the court after hearing arguments quashed the detention and ordered his release.

Kashmir dispute requires a tripartite solution: Sharad Yadav

New Delhi, April 09 (KMS): Sharad Yadav, the President of Janata Dal United (JDU), has said that Kashmir dispute has been an unresolved issue between India and Pakistan since 1947 and could be solved through a tripartite dialogue between India, Pakistan and Kashmiri leadership.
