Srinagar-muzaffarabad bus service suspended due to Eid

Srinagar, September 10 (KMS): The Srinagar-Muzaffarabab bus service has been suspended in view of the Eid-ul-Fitr festival.

The bus service has been suspended, official sources told media men. They said the bus would run normally next week. This is for the fourth time since January; the bus service has been suspended. On February 11 and 18 and July 29, the bus run was suspended due to landslides on the Line of Control (LoC). » Read more

38 youth arrested, 11 more booked under PSA in IHK

Srinagar, September 10 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, ahead of Eid, Indian paramilitary forces and policemen have launched fresh crackdown operations and arrested at least 38 civilians across the Kashmir valley in last three days. All the arrested youth have been booked under fake charges.

Police and paramilitary CRPF personnel are jointly conducting raids and search operations to arrest the youth who joined the protest demonstration against the continued killing and gross human rights by Indian armed forces in the Kashmir valley. » Read more

Locals demolished SOG camp in Islamabad

Srinagar, September 10 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, people staged forceful anti-India protest demonstrations and demolished the infamous camp of Special Operations Group (SOG) in southern town Islamabad.

Hundreds of pro-freedom protestors assembled in the Janglatmandi SOG camp and demolished it. Nearly 40- Special Operations Group men who were deployed in the Janglatmandi camp had left the place before the protesters attacked it. » Read more

Local TV channel banned in Kashmir valley

Srinagar, September 10 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities have banned a local TV channel for giving wide coverage to the mass agitation against India and continued gross human rights violations committed by Indian paramilitary forces in the occupied territory.

The ban, effective with immediate effect, has been issued by the district magistrate Srinagar and served to the 9 TV channel by the senior superintendent of police Srinagar. » Read more

3 Indian troops killed, 6 critically injured in Pattan blast

Srinagar, September 10 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, three Indian troops were killed and six other personnel were injured in an explosion inside their vehicle on Srinagar-Baramulla Highway.

Three troopers were killed and six others were injured in a grenade blast inside the vehicle they were travelling near Pattan Chowk of the highway.

People in Pattan who took to the streets said that an Indian army convoy attempted to hurl the grenade into the busy market, which according to them missed the target and killed 3 army personnel on the spot.  » Read more

People raised high pitched anti-India and pro-liberation slogans on the occasion. Earlier, addressing a big gathering in Jamia Masjid, the APHC Chairman maintained that the law of Jungle was prevailing in the occupied territory and the occupation troops were randomly killing Kashmiri youth to frighten people to submission.
